Islamorada, FL
Trent and Morgan's wedding in Islamorada, Florida was one I'll never forget. My first time ever in Florida, I was blown away by the white sand beaches and perfect weather (in the beginning of March, mind you, this would NEVER be the case in California). This wasn't your normal Florida Keys wedding - featuring groomsmen in white, pickle martini tower and a 60's rock cover band. You read that right.
I normally love a formal dress code with pops of color, bold fashion and quirkiness; but Trent and Morgan requested guests to be in all black - it looked absolutely STUNNING against the bright, white sand. Color made an appearance in their pastel florals with pops of purple, peach and pink. Their whimsical flowers and floor arch bounced in the light breeze and framed their oceanside ceremony just beautifully. I was such a sucker for the sky blue, patterned cocktail linens, curved bar and coral name tags on the dinner tables - you could tell each detail was thoughtful, elegant, and a nod to the Florida Keys that they love so much.
Morada Bay Keys was amazing venue and restaurant just a few steps from the water, where guests enjoyed a raw oyster bar with fresh ceviche, a steel drum musician and craft cocktails. After dinner, an extraordinary dance party took place just outside with a 60's rock band, string lights and insane sunset.
Cheers to Morgan and Trent throwing one heck of a party!
